25.01.2022 Mel Walsh has a Bachelor of Teaching and offers individualized tutoring to students of all ages. Mel has had over 20 years experience as a tutor and has worked with students from Pre-Prep to University age. She has experience with students with severe learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (including Asperger’s Syndrome), intellectual impairment, and speech/language delays. She also offers assistance to students who are just looking to boost their marks in certain su...bjects. Tutoring is available for all primary school subjects and some high school subjects. University students wanting help with organization of written work are also welcome. The tutoring service runs from 2 locations, Strathpine and Bray Park. All enquiries welcome.

All of these can only enhance a child's learning in the classroom and at home. As parents, we need to remember the other life lessons that can be taught on the sporting field. Respect for the coach and umpires, teamwork, putting others before yourself, learning to be a good loser and a respectful winner. As parents, we need to teach all of these things by example.
