21.01.2022 Today I want to tell you about IN THE END, a project created with my sister Lisa (@alicestreetpress)... This is a guided journal that encourages you to write down all the information your loved ones will need when you die. It’s also a funeral planner and a place for recording memories, family history and favourite photos. The idea came after our youngest sister tragically lost her husband and two sons in an accident in 2018. As well as being completely heartbroken, we were o...verwhelmed by the bureaucracy involved when no wills have been left. It was hard to know where to start and the probate process took a full year. As a result, the journal covers off all the questions we had to consider during that year, ie: life insurance, superannuation, enduring guardianship, estate planning and power of attorney. We’ve also included info on phone access, password access and social-media strategies... All the things we really should have a plan for. IN THE END is specific to Australian residents. It is friendly for all family types and for the LGBTQI community. I have illustrated it throughout with images inspired by our outback hometown of Broken Hill, where the boys lived, loved and died. Priced at $39.95, the journal is A5 in size and 160 pages.
