24.01.2022 Some familiar educational events are under way again with our VCE students sitting the GAT today. Very pleased to confirm Jess, Jay and their cohort were smiling under their masks!

23.01.2022 Great news that our Year 7 students will return to school earlier than expected. There has been an updated letter from Aaron Sykes posted on Compass today. This clarifies return to site protocols. Please phone or email the College if you need any further information.

21.01.2022 VCE Language exams are underway. Our German students were off-site today for their oral exam while James, Rita & Thang were well prepared for the Chin Hakha & Karen written exams at school. Well done to them all for their hard work.

16.01.2022 The Class of 2020 - a student cohort like no other! We have marvelled at your resilience, positivity, commitment, your support of each other & sense of fun. It was great to share a couple of celebratory events today - a morning tea & your Colour Run as you completed your final classes. You & your families should be as proud of you as your school is. Congratulations Year 12 2020!!

16.01.2022 While we are missing our wonderful students in our beautiful buildings & grounds - work is continuing to ensure there will be some lovely new spaces & surroundings for them to enjoy when they return. Here are some pictures of our Wetlands - complete with duck! Stay safe everyone.

15.01.2022 There are still a few busy weeks left at the College this year. Exams, Orientation programs, Awards Ceremonies & preparations for 2021. We ask families to check Compass regularly for updates. School times will revert back to 8.50am-3.00pm for all students from Monday 23 November. We look forward to a positive finish to this unique year for education.

14.01.2022 After a very hectic year for our staff we so thankful to those that offered to guide pre-service teachers this week. These future educators have done most of their study online this year and have had very limited opportunity to put into practice their chosen vocation. At this very busy time our staff continue to give. The College welcomed an enthusiastic & grateful group of 20 from ACU Melbourne. We hope to see some of the teaching at Melba in the future.

12.01.2022 After a massive Melba College Community effort we made it to the end of Term 3 - thank you everyone! Please check Compass for a letter from Aaron Sykes which includes some updates about returning to on-site learning. We encourage everyone to rest and stay safe.

06.01.2022 Our Year 11 VCE & VCAL students continue to show their commitment & creativity to their studies. Well done to Kyle, Kade, Jai & Byron who were chosen by Innovation Nation from hundreds of applications to be part of their program to promote ideas from young people. The boys created the Behind the Education podcast which details what their Melba VCAL program offers them & their gratitude for an education. We will let you know when the podcast drops! Our Year 11 Psychology students have also been busy finding innovative & tasty ways to study the brain. Thanks to Miss Luiyf & Mrs Bato for their continued passion & enthusiasm to educating our students.
