We would like ...to assure our customers, that we will not be affected by abattoir closures, and we will remain stocked for you and your family. 18.01.2022 This evening the club has held a club member meeting via Zoom to discuss the current circumstances, particularly with a number of people involved in the club living in lock down suburbs and what seems to be a continuing trend of lack of direction and clarity from leadership of our sport through what is a very difficult time The club strongly feels we have a responsibility to support the fight against Covid 19, despite it expecting to become the new "Norm" moving forward and e...nsure we are not contributing to the spread of Covid 19 The club has presented various points of view for both continuing on and not continuing with the season, which considered financial, sporting and the health and well being of our playing members, both Covid related, but also based on supporting mental health Club members have now been provided 48 hours to provide their feedback on trying to push forward with season 2020 through a club survey, at which point the committee will assess the sentiment of the playing group across multiple questions The committee will then make a decision on season 2020 that will benefit our playing group and club Should you wish to provide feedback to the club, we ask that you email [email protected] to have this included in consideration by the committee Regards Toby Colgrave President Melbourne City FC
