13.01.2022 Great News - First Home Owner Construction Grant Increased! It's good news for first home buyers in the market for a newly constructed home with the Victorian Government increasing the First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) from $7,000 to $10,000. From July 1, 2013, the increase to the FHOG will see eligible first home buyers purchasing a newly constructed home receive $10,000, along with a 40 per cent stamp duty cut.... Add to that the record low interest rates and there won't be a better time to build your dream home.

10.01.2022 Great News - First Home Buyers If you’re a first home buyer in Victoria, 2017 is already shaping up as a great year for you! In a bid to engage more young property buyers and stave off the current housing affordability crisis - from July 2017, the Victorian government will implement a range of measures to assist first home buyers get into the property market. ... These measures include: - Doubling the First-Home Owner Grant to $20,000 for first home buyers purchasing newly built properties in regional Victoria up to $750,000. - Abolishing stamp duty for first home buyers in Victoria for purchases of homes up to $600,000. The increase to the grant, coupled with stamp duty savings mean there has never been a better time for a first home buyers to get into the property market.
