22.01.2022 Dear Members President Rob Carter and Secretary Jenny Porcellana from Melbourne Field and Game have both stood down from their roles on the Executive Committee. Rob and I have served in our roles from the inception of Melbourne Field and Game approximately 12 years ago..We worked hard in these roles and leave knowing that Melbourne Field and Game can only get better.... Its time for new Blood, Committee that can go forward alongside the Melbourne Gun Club. Some fresh ideas and energy to keep up the momentum. On a personal note Rob would like to thank everyone for their support and help during this time. It hasnt been easy, in fact its bloody hard work, made easier by all the volunteers we have had. An AGM will be scheduled for early in the new year where Rob and I will officially stand down and the positions will be declared vacant. Unfortunately there will be no Christmas Shoot. Negotiations are still underway between Field and Game Australia and the Melbourne Gun Club. We wish all of our members and families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Melbourne Field and Game will still hold Competitions at The Melbourne Gun Club grounds. Unfortunately not tomorrow. 18.01.2022 Saturday 16th February. 111 shooters. 100 Targets. Everyone agreed that shooting 4 rounds of 25 on two grounds was great. The event was finished by 4.30. The weather conditions were perfect. See my previous post for the winners report.
