25.01.2022 Just finished another fit out for one of our clients, Johns Lyng Group. The project was adding 20 more workstations into an existing office for AIG Docklands office. Most of the work had to be done after hours over two nights working in with other trades.

09.01.2022 April last year I was in Vietnam helping make samples of furniture for the Daydream Island Resort. A company I am part of Kian Interiors Australia ended up winning the furniture project for the resort. I wanted to share some images of the journey I took project managing the manufacturing, packaging, logistics and installing the furniture on an island. Our custom made furniture was manufactured in 6 different countries, all having to be shipped, then loaded onto a train, picked up by side loader and eventually brought to the island by barge.

08.01.2022 Hey everyone, sorry its been a while posting, thought i would share one of our fit outs we completed late last year for 1st National Clayton. These guys have the rights to five 1st National offices and this one is their first that they have set up.

08.01.2022 Went to the AIFF (Australian International Furniture Fair) the other day and one of the few high lights was catching up with Ralph Brauer from Bisque Interiors. They are now based out of the Byron Bay Area and have a range of quirky imported furniture from around the world which I have admired for along time now.

07.01.2022 Richmond Office Furniture is gaining traction, its been a busy month. We had the opportunity to win a fit out/ reconfigure job for Johns Lyng Group in Doncaster just recently and thought i would put up some images of how the progress went. It was an existing office being used 5 days a week so this install had to be done over the weekend. So to make sure we got the job completed ready for monday morning i had the full team on it including flying Deion the screen guru down from Coffs Harbour. Big thanks to Jordan as well for getting us the opportunity to quote on this project .

06.01.2022 Just completed a custom furniture project for the Sorrento Hotel through another company i am involved in, Kian Interiors Australia. All the furniture was custom made at our factories in China and Malaysia. This project involved me going over to the factories working with the team doing the design development and samples.

04.01.2022 Finally after months of stress i have just been paid for furniture from a company in liquidation. This does not happen often, especially when you are an unsecured creditor, but we have prevailed. This project first started soon after i sold out of Dare Gallery Richmond last year in May. I walked away from it at first but ended up back on around the start of October. This project was a mix of custom made furniture and high end designer furniture for the King & Godfree restaura...nt and roof top bar in Carlton. I don't have any images of the furniture placed at site as it is all still in storage. The project involved custom metal, perforated metal, marble and solid oak timber. The project has been held up as the original builder went into receivership and ultimately into liquidation. I have been told that this great landmark venue will be open for business late this year. 02.01.2022 Went to a furniture trade fair in Melbourne the other day and was attracted to a few displays. Being an upholsterer one stand had some really cool stitching details. This new sewing machine they have is the first in Australia at a cost of around $50,000 installed. It can do up to 32 different stitch patterns, here is just a couple of examples.
