20.01.2022 While we are unable to mark this year’s Remembrance Day and the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II with a commemoration service at the airport, we will pause to honour, recognise and remember those who have served, died or suffered in all wars, conflicts and peace operations. Lest we forget. Credit to Allan Hessey for the performance of ‘The Last Post’.

11.01.2022 From humble beginnings to becoming our national carrier, Qantas has been part of Australia's story for 100 years. They were the first airline to fly around the world via both hemispheres linking Australia and Europe with a regular passenger service. We wish them the best as they fly into the next 100 years. Congratulations Qantas on your centenary anniversary.
