15.01.2022 With social distancing being the dominant strategy nation-wide for the minimisation of spread of COVID-19 / Coronavirus, the ongoing pandemic is seeing more and... more people being advised to stay at home and to take work home wherever possible. Whilst the older population and those with chronic health conditions or impaired immune systems are fundamentally our main health concern when talking about COVID-19, this is not to say that other health conditions or populations should be ignored. Like most medical and allied health clinics around the country, we are offering TELEHEALTH consults at Lifecare Prahran Sports Medicine for all of our services, in particular for certain groups that may be more vulnerable (e.g. the older populations, this with chronic medical conditions or immuno-compromise). It is important to understand that whilst some practitioners are choosing to consult by Telehealth alone, most of our practitioners are still able to see patients face-to face in the clinic if need be.
