Get in touch with Cam Mineo from DIY Musician https://www.melbourne-musicteachers.com/cam-mineo-from-diy/... Bio Cam Mineo is a self taught multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, vocal coach and facilitator of personal development trainings and music events. With over 17 years as a solo performer and with original bands including Superjuice, 20+ years as a singer songwriter, 5 years as a dance and personal development class facilitator, Cam has performed in bands along side artists including The Teskey Brothers and Psuedo Echo, written over 200 songs, released over 30 songs online, performed to 1000s, coached over 100 clients in music and personal development, and has probably eaten over 5000 carrots in his life time. But there’s no way to prove that, so you better take his word for it. Teaching Info I work intuitively, so don’t expect your ordinary teacher. I might tell you to go for a run on the beach really fast whilst singing so you can get used to engaging your diaphragm. I feel out and enquire about your goals and needs and cater the lessons towards that.

Bio I’ve been playing bass guitar for 13 years, having recently graduated from Melbourne University ( Victorian College of the Arts) with a Bachelors of Music, Jazz and Improvisation. Professionally I play in a range of groups, including running a corporate jazz trio, wedding and cover bands, Indi original music and experience in Musical Theatre orchestras. I have been teacher for 3 years both privately and through a tuition school, with a range of age groups, skill levels and educational needs. I have experience taking students through any style or technical requirement, including slap, pick work, tapping or preparation for VCE performance exams. I pride myself on maintaining a fun and engaging learning environment and keeping open and honest communication between myself and students. Personally, my goal is to share the joy that I find in exploring music with others through sharing my knowledge, and equipping my students with the skills play, compose and understand anything and everything that interests them. 21.01.2022 Looking for Piano Lessons or Violin Lessons in Chadstone? Get in touch with Sean Tan https://www.melbourne-musicteachers.com/sean-tan/... Bio Spent More Than 10 Years Playing and Teaching Piano Achieved AMEB Grade 8 Piano Less than 5 hour Average Response Time Working with Children Check verified by the VIC Government Teaches many adult students (I have three students in their late 20s and my oldest student is 42!), so there’s no reason to hesitate if you’re looking to learn piano as an adult. Trains students for AMEB Piano Exams if that is their goal Face to Face Lessons (with masks) 18 students and counting Located Near Chadstone Shopping Centre Text me on 0447178455 to book a lesson and get a response in less than 5 hours! Teaching Info My name is Sean and I’ve been playing Piano for the last 10 Years. (Since June 2010!) If you’re looking for Piano lessons or a Music Teacher for yourself or anyone you know, I’ve been exactly where you want to go and I am more than capable of taking you there, but only if you put in the work. The benefit of knowledge is only gained when implemented. I’ve worked for several music schools in the past, teaching kids of all levels Piano and Violin lessons at many primary schools. I was the section leader for 4 years at my high school where I was responsible for teaching my peers both classical and contemporary works up to the standard for concert performances. I am currently studying at Monash University. As well as teaching kids as young as 5, I teach many adult students, anywhere from 25-40 , so there is no reason to hesitate if you are looking to learn Piano as an adult. I also train students for music exams, primarily AMEB Examinations. My approach is step-by-step and methodical. Rushing in the name of progress actually produces mistakes later due to a poor foundation, and you spend more effort and money trying to go back and fix them. The whole process becomes way slower than if you had just got it right the first time and progressed step-by-step like I do with my students instead of skipping. My Piano lessons are $45/hr and there are no lock-in contracts or commitments. I have a valid Working with Children check, so I am authorised and approved to be working with children as a Music Teacher by the Australian Government. If you are a parent of more than one child, I am also more than willing to teach multiple kids the Piano. I also teach and have achieved AMEB Grade 8 at Violin.

Get in touch with Jessica Chan https://www.melbourne-musicteachers.com/jessica-chan/... Bio I have been teaching music and movement, violin and piano for the past 10 years. I specialize in supporting younger students while they are developing a foundation for a dedicated enjoyment and practice of music for life. It is important for me to co-create an understand and promote a balance of practice, goal setting, and seeing how music fits in with day to day, week to week, and season to season aspects of life. I am a very flexible, encouraging and patient teacher that chooses to be kindly firm when necessary. Teaching Info I support students to discover a good foundation of music. Just as the needs of the student are dynamic, so are the materials, and teaching styles. For example, with online learning, and changing times, I create a lot of my own music resources to be available for students and caregivers to access online, providing supplemental aural, rhythmic and notation support. I have found this very successful to students engagement in between weekly lessons. Depending on the student, I work with AMEB exam repertoire, Piano Adventures, John Thompson, and other sporadic materials for piano (familiar, but don’t often use Alfred books); AMEB and Suzuki books (I am not suzuki trained, but learned suzuki and music reading as a child), and abacadabra for violin, to name a few. I am happy to co-decide with the family and/or student. For improvising, jazz and singing, I support the needs of the student over following any particular method books.
