16.01.2022 One of the things Ive discovered during iso is that I really like puzzles! While our puzzle skills have improved, the bonus challenge is to keep all the pieces in play...we think we discovered the culprit to this missing piece....she is cute and cuddly and sits innocently under the kitchen table waiting for...well usually food but in this case- a tasty puzzle piece Ah Dusty puppy you keep us on our toes!!

15.01.2022 Sounds like very good advice to me....my focus for the week will be trying to be present and in the moment with my kids and trying to do some fun things together Any ideas for fun things welcome!

08.01.2022 We spent the weekend at beautiful Wilsons Prom and managed to visit Alison Lesters gallery/shop in Fish Creek. Picked up a couple of gifts and now I also have some artwork on my wish list! Kissed by the Moon is one of my faves

07.01.2022 This is my niece, Miss C, who is three years old. Lately she has been VERY interested in signs, as I got to see as she helped me do the school pick up this week. Shell ask you to talk the letters My sister was asking me, whats up with that? Well, learning that the sounds and words we say aloud can be represented and written down with symbols (including letters and words) is a very important step on the journey towards literacy. Its a great activity to do with your l...ittle one while youre in the car - you can talk about what the street signs say and what their message is. Pointing to words in the storybook as you read them, or drawing a treasure map and going on a hunt are other activities you could try. There are lots of fun ways to learn about letters and sounds. As for my sisters other question, after an hour in the car, can we stop talking about signs, well, Ill leave that one up to her You have to appreciate the three year old brain!!

06.01.2022 The Teach Your Monster to Read app is free until the 28th of Feb. It looks quite fun :) Looking forward to trying it out with the kiddos.

04.01.2022 Audible is my favourite audiobook service, and now children can listen for free!! The best! My son discovered audiobooks early this year, and has chomped his way through almost all of the seven Harry Potter books. He doesnt want to turn it off at night and its so brilliant to see him ear read effortlessly and for his own enjoyment! So many things to like about audiobooks. https://stories.audible.com/start-listen
