24.01.2022 Here is the before and after pics of the carbon build up inside the throttle body of the SQ5 that came in yesterday. The build was surprisingly at its worst in throttle body as it was very close to the EGR inlet port. We used a bore scope camera to inspect the manifold to find the build up was not an issue further downstream. Quick clean up should see this car back to its former glory. The PCV circulation mixed with EGR soot is what creates this build up. Proper maintenance from quality technicians like what you get at MPC Auto Speed is all you need. Have a good weekend everyone!

17.01.2022 Today a lovely Audi SQ5 came in for an issue where a warning light was displayed. Along with finding the cause of the issue we also did some simple checks of the engines overall health finding this immense build up of carbon in the intake system. Proving regular maintenance and health checks can help find issues that otherwise go by unknown to the car owner. All cleaned up and repaired this car will be sure to see improvements in performance and fuel economy.
