Drew Cary is the chairman of REIWA in Bunbury and says ...the rental vacancy rate in the city is close to zero. "We're seeing the beginnings of price increases coming through for properties because demand is creeping up beyond supply and that's reflected in the South West," he said. "So in Busselton we're seeing it, Dunsborough and Margaret River we're seeing it, as far afield as Albany and as far north as Geraldton we're seeing it. "Normally the coastal cities are the most popular first, but for example we've just had a property manager try to relocate to Merredin and it's very hard to get a property. "She's a property manager working in the industry and still struggled to find property to rent."
