12.01.2022 Dear Melrose Easter Camp families and Campers In light of the ever-developing COVID-19 situation, Scripture Union South Australias and our own responses have had to change to suit the challenges of this time. Therefore, we together with Scripture Union have made the tough call that camp will be cancelled. We understand that there is too high a risk towards the well-being of all patrons present on camp, as well as the families which they all go home to.... This means we will not be holding Melrose Easter Camp 2020 this Easter. These are difficult times and we know this news will be heart-breaking for a lot of us, especially for our campers who have shown such a great excitement towards Easter Camp. But we must prioritize the well-being of everyone on camp, as well as all those who we will go home to. However, we are searching other avenues for camp including the potential of a delayed Easter Camp later in the year. We will inform you when we have more information. 06.01.2022 Melrose Easter Camp 2020 campers and families We understand you will be aware of the current status of COVID-19 in Australia. In amongst this we would like to inform you on our current response to the situation.... Melrose Easter Camp 2020 as it stands will be continuing to go ahead as planned. Given the current restrictions our Government has updated us with; including the limit of no more than 100 people indoors, we are authorized to run as we do not fall into this category. However, we will be running with highly thorough guidelines and maintained risk assessments regarding hygiene and safety as advised in the recent publications from the Australian Government: Department of Health. Our aim is to allow camp to run as per usual while maintaining the protection of your wellbeing. Of course with the status of COVID-19 progressing daily, our response may need to change as we will need to adhere to new restrictions as necessary. If this does change, we plan to let you know via email (for those who are registered) and all Social Media platforms no later than April 1st . We encourage you, if you have planned on registering previously, to continue as planned, just as we are. If necessary, you will be entitled to a full refund. We are believing, praying and keeping ourselves well informed in what WE can do to make Easter Camp run and be safe. We invite you to do the same. We love you and plan to have a great Easter Camp with you again this year!
