25.01.2022 Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and happy new year! And a special shoutout to all those spending their first Christmas together as a married couple! - Mel the Celebrant

24.01.2022 The Brits aren't exactly known for their pizza, but we know wedding receptions can be pricey, so it raises an interesting question... Would you choose a wedding pepperoni over a wedding cake? or ?

23.01.2022 Whoa! Some pretty crazy wedding inspo here

23.01.2022 They really stuck to the footy theme at their wedding! WOW! Wherever you are and whoever you cheer for, hope everyone enjoys #AFL Grand Final day!

18.01.2022 Congratulations to Harry and Meghan!

18.01.2022 Jon and Ygritte forever

17.01.2022 Love this! What a great idea! All the family and loved ones already there, and it kept the budget in check. Could this be an emerging trend in the next few years for couples wanting a low-key wedding? +??

17.01.2022 Another happy couple! So thrilled for Ruby and Zac! Been a few hurdles to jump to make their special day happen - darn you COVID-19! - but it’s made today that much more memorable

17.01.2022 Bridesmaid Nell Goddard tweeted the photo, adding: "Yes, we did use them for storing snacks, thank you for asking." How was this not thought of before??!

17.01.2022 Seems to be a trend developing - fast food chains offering competitions like this to feed wedding guests! No wet wipes provided though - that’s rough

15.01.2022 Did my very first wedding during a pandemic back in June when the restrictions lifted somewhat. In these crazy times, it was nice to help Ruby and Zac celebrate their special day They gave me this lovely review too: Mel the Celebrant was the perfect fit her relaxed yet professional approach really gave us confidence and put us at ease from the beginning. Our wedding plans were flung into uncertainty during the COVID19 pandemic and Mel was a step ahead the whole time; co...mmunicating regularly, providing relevant updates and seeking additional information from health officials where required. Mel went above and beyond to make our dream day a reality and when it finally arrived, we couldn't have been happier that she was officiating! Mel encouraged us to have a laugh and enjoy ourselves while she took care of the official side of things with efficiency and rigour in the background. From beginning to end we were thrilled with Mel's service, flexibility, sense of humour and expert-level knowledge can't recommend highly enough!

12.01.2022 So from this Friday in NSW, weddings will now allow for a total of 10 people! That’s an increase from the limit of 5 people enforced a few months ago. The lockdown measures during the coronavirus pandemic has been really tough for so many couples and businesses in the wedding industry, but hopefully this is a sign that slowly we are taking baby steps to sensibly get things rolling again.

10.01.2022 Just a few little changes this past year to get officially trained up on Planning a wedding? Or need a celebrant for another ceremony or event? You know what to do!

10.01.2022 What an amazing day yesterday! I got to perform a wedding ceremony for this beautiful couple, Kaitlyn and James. It was an absolute honour to be their celebrant and I couldn’t be more certain they will have a happy and long life together as husband and wife!

07.01.2022 Love is in the air in Hollywood it seems!

07.01.2022 Wow! What a crazy couple of weeks it’s been. Firstly, I’d like to say how grateful I am that I am safe and healthy and I hope everyone else is following all the guidelines in this COVID-19 crisis. Look after each other! Just an update that I wanted to mention: Last night the federal government announced new measures for weddings which now means a total of only 5 PEOPLE are permitted to be present - the couple, the celebrant and two witnesses. This will come into effect fr...om midnight tonight. I’ve had one wedding sadly postponed as a result of this update. Understandably this is a very tough situation for couples right now who have been planning for so long and looking forward to their big day surrounded by many friends and family! So my heart goes out to those across the country that have been affected. I’d like to reiterate that if you are still wanting to tie the knot, my marriage celebrant services are still available, they will just have to follow these new federal government guidelines of a maximum of 5 people present. It’ll be ‘intimate’ in a very different way, but hey, at least it’ll be memorable, right? Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. These are strange and unprecedented times but we all must be vigilant and take all necessary measures to try and ‘flatten the curve’ and eventually eradicate coronavirus from Australia. Stay safe everyone!

07.01.2022 What a beautiful idea!

05.01.2022 All for the inclusion of a couple's pupper in their special day! Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas weren't going to get married without their dog 'Porky Basquiat'

05.01.2022 There's some great, simple things in here for couples to consider and discuss together before they tie the knot

04.01.2022 Absolutely thrilled and honoured to be chosen to be the marriage celebrant for Kaitlyn and James’ wedding later this year Congratulations to the gorgeous couple on their engagement!

04.01.2022 Loving the photos and stories from all the Star Wars themed weddings over the weekend! 'May the 4th Be With You'

02.01.2022 An absolute honour to be Anastasia and Angus’ celebrant for their very cool wedding last night! Congrats to you both, love you guys!!

01.01.2022 Happily to say we are officially registered as COVID Safe and have a COVID Safe Plan for ceremonies. Strange times we live in, but it’s excellent that there is support in place from the NSW government to give everyone peace of mind to still hold these momentous occasions safely for couples getting married during this pandemic!
