03.01.2022 The Grand finals of 1983. We were at 12.45pm East Fremantle oval on August 28. The legend at East Fremantle, Len Anderson( listed 1st on field umpires), sadly passed away September 8, 2019. Len used to umpire our games that season as well as other seasons, and was involved a lot at EFFC. One of the most memorable moments for me with Len was when he walked into the clubrooms after we played Attadale during the season at Troy Park, and he quietly told me "I gave you 3 votes today Whytey." Ha ha, I thought holy moly, here is an umpire telling me has given me some votes.
