20.01.2022 How beautiful is Normas garden in memory of her two angels. So much love has gone into it, featuring 3 of our beautiful natural stones that Norma has collected from us over the past few years We are back in the office. Many of you have asked if we are still closing down. At this stage we will be restructuring, keeping the natural stone and headstone work but removing plaques, urns, ornaments etc so if you would like any of these please have a look at the specials on our website, reduced until sold out.

20.01.2022 Dear Dad Billy brought out your book today. Its the one I made for him so he would never forget you after you died. This is the page about Billys 1st Christmas, when you were still with us. I was thinking about that year, the fun we had and memories we made. We used to read it every single day, and although not so often now its still his favourite book and we read it to Tommy and now Willow too. It sucks they never got to meet you in this life, I know you would have loved... to spend time with them and make them laugh. All we have now are memories and photographs, and thats why these things are so special to us. I love you Dad. Every Christmas without you has never been the same, and as we get closer to your anniversary all the feelings that I kind of a keep to one side start to well up and spill over. 20.01.2022 I hope everyone had a safe and merry Christmas with their loved ones. For those of you missing someone you love, we had you in our thoughts. My Dad passed on the 19th Dec 2012, and he was laid to rest on his birthday, the 31st Dec. So this time of year is always bittersweet, grateful for the special moments we share with our kids and loved ones still here, and sad for the moments we miss of those that arent. 15.01.2022 Update! Since I announced we would close down after Christmas we have been overwhelmed with support, from you our followers and customers but also by people in our lives who are offering support and alternatives to closing down. As you may know I believe our loved ones send signs and messages from above and the ones I have been getting I feel are telling me to just pause and not rush any decisions. Until then its business as usual and I have already been receiving the suppo...rt I needed to get through and its been amazing. 14.01.2022 7 Years...Feels both like its gone in the blink of an eye, and like its been a life time. 7 years ago today Dad, you left us. You didnt have to, you chose to. And I still believe you made a mistake and would have wished you could take it back the moment you made it. I feel like as time has gone on I kind of detach from my grief, and then days like these are a kind of permission slip to let it out and not be ok. I was flat out all day finalising the last of our Christmas o...rders, but you were on my mind from the moment I woke up. And now the work is done, the kids are in their rooms. And its just me, my memories and the soundtrack of songs I play for you. And I can feel it all again. I fucking miss you Dad. I miss the laughs we shared and the deep chats about life and everything. I miss the things I dont get to have without you, I miss watching you get to know my kids. I miss your unannounced drop ins. I even miss you buying me things and arguing with you. I miss having you in my corner. I miss having you to rely on. I miss it all. I wish you were here. Please visit me in my dreams, I want to see your face and hear your voice. Its been so long. 14.01.2022 Lest We Forget My husband and I both had relatives who fought in the World Wars. In 2011 we stood in the battlefields in France and Belgium, and visited the memorials for them. Standing there really hit home just how many people lost their lives and made the ultimate sacrifice. It was an experience I will always remember. #lestweforget

09.01.2022 Hi All Just popping in for an update. We have been busy behind the scenes moving and relocating our workshop, and have experienced some delays. I have also been going through some personal upheavals, I dont wish to share about the details but it has meant I have not shown up as fully as I would normally expect of myself and taking longer to reply to emails/calls. That said I am 100% committed to fulfilling all current orders and will not be taking on any new ones at this poi...nt so that my energy can go into the ones we already have. If you have an order pending please rest assured we will have a beautiful stone ready for you as soon as we can. Thankyou for your patience and understanding We do still have a stock pile of stones that we wanted to sell before closing completely, once we are caught up we will prep and release a few at a time every month or so. We are also taking the current world events seriously and my kids are staying home with me to play our part in social distancing and hopefully reduce the spread of covid19. This has also added to things not running quite as smoothly as normal, its kinda like school holidays with no end in sight but we will be trying to make the most of it. 07.01.2022 This small headstone is just over 60 x 40 cm wide. Price reduced from $1750 to $1250 - this type of stone engraves beautifully. It is slightly lighter in colour with fine speckling. Photos show up very well. Ships aus wide and if local to WA we can also handle local cemetery installations with base etc. ... If purchased today we will also supply a free plaque.

04.01.2022 Edit/Update: Please see latest pinned post. We are currently reconsidering our options and not rushing any permanent decisions. ********** The man that started it all. My Dad. I lost him on the 19th December 2012. It was while organizing his headstone the ideas formed to start Memories Set on Stone. ... Closing down has become more emotional than I thought it would be, this work has helped me keep his memory alive too. I was due to come off maternity leave today. And the business is in a place that I would have needed to give it my all to keep it going into the next year and beyond. And I realised I couldnt when I need to give my all to my baby, my family and myself right now. Im torn between feeling like this is the right thing to do, and feeling scared Im making a big mistake. Change is scary and uncomfortable but sometimes necessary part of life. Alot of people are asking about our natural stones as I have removed them from the website. We still have alot of stones here, they wouldnt be ready before Christmas, they will be available next year or I could open up pre orders if anyone is interested. Let us know below if you would be interested in this. We have lots of the beautiful ornaments below remaining, and a limited number of plaques and urns

03.01.2022 Little Molly She was my mother in laws baby. When she first got her she could sit inside a stubby holder! So tiny! She passed away unexpectedly recently and today I gave my MIL this. Such beautiful keepsakes. Ours are displayed all year round, love seeing them watching over us

03.01.2022 This stone is very speckly and has hairline cracks which look a bit like lightening strikes. We could put a plaque on it or also engrave directly on it if ok with speckles showing through. These still look beautiful. This is approx 60x55cm and is reduced to clear for $850 (incl plaque if opt not to engrave directly on it)
