In an Australian first partnership of its type, Men’s Netball NSW in conjunction with Netball NSW, will be integrating two new ...boys divisions into the HART Junior State Titles for 2021. The HART Junior State Titles is the flagship event within the Netball NSW pathway acting as a launching pad for players trying to break into the elite level of netball. For boys, that pathway has never existed until now. Netball NSW have embraced the innovation and diversity boys and men offer the game of netball and this partnership is the most critical new pathway program for the men’s association we’ve seen in our 35 year history. Registration is now open for NSW schools, associations and clubs to submit a junior men’s teams to compete in the 14/Under or 16/Under divisions of the HART Junior State Titles in June. This is an exciting new opportunity for young males from all around the state to recognise a pathway to start or continue to play netball, grow their skills and be part of the future of men’s netball. The team behind the documentary have been so inspired by all player's that we have met, their commitment and passion for the sport and how they have overcome many barriers to play at the top level of the sport. The player stories provide a backdrop to the underlying theme of equality in sport, but from a male perspective in a sport which is predominantly considered a female sport to this day. Our hope is that this documentary will inspire a groundswell of support for the development of the men's side of the sport at the local level and the elite level.
