25.01.2022 Introducing Mackenzie Brown, a Year 11 ATAR Drama and Music student at Hale School. Mackenzie plays the all great and powerful Wizard of Oz. Elphaba is very excited to meet the Great Wizard until she realizes he is not as powerful as everyone thinks and she discovers he has been caging all the animals in Oz. Mackenzie most recently performed in Hales production of My Fair Lady.

25.01.2022 Introducing The Addams Family Crew. Lead by Student Stage Manager and Year 12 Drama Student, Madeline Kiely, the crew consists of 8 students from Year 8 to Year 12. Our very important crew members are, Holly Brown, Lucia Cronin, Caitlyn Foy, Harper Lee, Ellie Panebianco, Nadia Pisano, Kate Reid and Amy Saito.

24.01.2022 Introducing Abbey Breust, a Year 10 Drama student who plays Dr Dillamond, a Lecturer at the Shiz University. He is the last animal to be teaching the students. When he is removed from Shiz Univrsity, Elphaba realises there is a conspiracy by the Wizard of Oz to remove all animals from Oz.

18.01.2022 Stephanie Shaw is an Year 12 ATAR Drama student who is a very experienced musical theatre performer. She plays Nessarose, Elphabas tragically beautiful sister. Unfortunately she is the witch who Dorothys house falls onto as it lands, and she is squashed. All that is left are her ruby slippers!

15.01.2022 As a Year 10 Drama student, Charlotte Kiely has been involved in the school musical each year. Charlotte plays Madam Morrible, the headmistress of Shiz University, who is not all who she seems! Her relationship with the Wizard of Oz shows us that she has a very different side.

10.01.2022 Introducing Anton Coomblas, a Year 7 student from JSRACS, who plays Boq a munchkin boy who is forced to love Nessarose. When all things go wrong he is transformed into the Tinman. Anton has signficant choir experience - in Year 5 he performed with the WA Opera Company. He is very excited to be part of his first Mercedes College musical.

10.01.2022 Rhys Agnihotri is a Year 12 ATAR Drama student at Aquinas College. He plays Fiyero, a carefree, shallow person. When he meets Elphaba he starts thinking and changes into a caring friend. Fiyero is magically transformed into the scarecrow as punishment for helping Elphaba. 09.01.2022 Gabe Sharra, a Year 12 ATAR Drama and Musical Theatre student from John Curtin College of the Arts joins the Wicked cast as the Governor of Munchkinland. The Governor loves his children but as a leader of a society he is pre-disposed to act differently in front of other people. Gabe has been involved in productions since Year 7; his most recent role was as Danny in Grease. He is very excited to be part of the Mercedes College production.

09.01.2022 Introducing some of our cast for Wicked ....Jayda DAgostino is a Year 11 ATAR Drama student who has been involved in productions since Year 7. Last year she was Morticia in The Adams Family. She is very excited to be Elphaba, a dream role for any actor. Elphaba is the misunderstood green witch who finds acceptance through her unlikely friendship with Glinda.
