To apply for this position you must have a minimum 5 years experience as a qualified mechanic and good knowledge of European vehicles, eg Audi, Vw & BMW. A current registration ticket and a current NSW drivers license is a must. About us. We are a small local business in Merewether that has been established for ten years servicing the local community. We have a great client b...ase and are very busy. As part of out team you will be required to work alongside another qualifying mechanic and a 3 year apprentice. Our hours of business are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm (with the occasional overtime) and closed on weekends Above award wages and a bonus will be paid for the right person. 22.01.2022 2013 VW Amarok throttle body and egr valve. Only 100,000 km on the clock. Customer came in with the engine light on, upon scanning, we found a code relating to the ERG system. We removed the EGR valve and were quite shocked at how blocked and restricted it was! We removed the manifold and found a very similar story, very carboned up with up to 80% restricted airflow! Both components were cleaned and re-fitted to the vehicle and road tested. The power difference was incredible! Get your Diesel vehicle checked today!
