24.01.2022 I dont watch love island but the sad news about Caroline Flack has really got me I didnt know her personally I didnt follow her life... So why do i feel so affected? Because the online space has become part of our everyday world. Our children are and will continue to be exposed to it. When i was a teacher half the issues were related to cyber bullying. We cant protect our children from everything. They have access to smart devices left, right and centre And even if you refuse to provide smart devises, they have access to the internet through their friends. You cant wrap them up in cotton wool forever. Its so important to raise your children right... Raise them to have a strong sense of themselves. Raise them to love themselves Raise them with high self esteem. This isnt extra work Its necessary work. Its not covered in schools. Its your job as a parent to protect your child and by raising them this way you are doing exactly that.
