09.01.2022 Due to increased public concern and to protect the health of all involved in the Merredin Show, and in response to the Prime Minister’s direction that any organised mass gathering over 500 people should be cancelled, we are cancelling the 2020 Merredin Show. It is obviously disappointing that there is a need to cancel the Show as it is the first time in our 100 year history that there has been a need to do so. It is not only our disappointment, but it carries through to every...one involved and the general public who have always supported us so well. The safety and well-being of everyone, is our priority. We will be in touch with Entertainers, Exhibitors, sponsors etc plus others who were to be involved to advise of this decision and work with them to obtain the best outcome for all. Please bear with us as it is by no means a small task to cancel this event at such short notice. This is obviously having a huge financial impact on our organisation as we have already expended a very large amount of money, with no means of getting it back by actually running the event. One of the only ways to get an income to help cover our costs at the moment is to sell all the tickets in our raffle. $25 gives you a chance in winning your share of the $8,000 prize money. Call the Merredin Community Resource Centre on 9041 1041 to purchase one, or call and see them at 110 Barrack Street in Merredin. I personally thank each and every one on our committee plus the Merredin Community Resource Centre for the incredible job they have done to get this event to the point they have. It was going to be great, as it is our goal to make each event better than the previous one. In the hope that the COVID-19 pandemic will be a thing of the past in 2021, we are already planning next year’s Merredin Show. Martin Morris Chair - Merredin Show

02.01.2022 The Merredin Show Raffle will be drawn at the Merredin CRC on Saturday 21st March 2020 at 12 noon, all are welcome to attend. We will also be going live on Facebook so that those who are unable to be here can watch the draw. We will be having a sausage sizzle (if we can find somewhere to buy sausages, if not we will be having a bacon sandwich sizzle :-) ). So pop down, grab some lunch and watch the draw. All money raised will go back to the Merredin Show. Thanks to everyone that purchased tickets, and good luck! :-)
