23.01.2022 The Live at Lunch concert was scheduled for yesterday with flutist Jane Rutter and guitarist Giuseppe Zangari. But the show must go on so Jane and Giuseppe played anyway - but without an audience. Dont worry, weve filmed the whole thing, just give us a bit of time for post-production, then well go live next week on Janes YouTube channel.

17.01.2022 COVID-19 PREVENTION AND MITIGATION We regret to inform all patrons that, due to the risk associated with the COVID-19 virus and the government directive to restrict public gatherings, all performances at The Concourse Performing Arts Centre have been cancelled or rescheduled up until the 31st March We understand the closure will have great impact on the community, however, the health and well-being of our patrons, artists and staff is our highest priority.... This is a very fluid situation with information and directives changing day to day. For events after the 31st March we are working with all of our promoters and show producers on an individual basis. In some cases promoters have elected to cancel their events now or reschedule to dates later in the year. In either case should you have tickets you will be contacted either by the venue, the promoter or our ticketing agent. For events that do proceed after the 31st March the please be aware that for your safety and the safety of our staff and artists the venue will employ the following measures: Disinfecting the venues after every event Signage at our entries relating to best hygiene practices Hand sanitiser available in all onsite engagement areas including; entries, bars, box offices, stage door, and back stage Our FOH will sterilise handles, handrails, tapwear and benches at regular intervals throughout the event Deployment of PPE gear including gloves and no direct opening by hand of packaged beverages Cashless only options to eradicate cash handling over the counter. If you have travelled to or had contact with someone returning from a high risk area, please follow advice from the Australian and State Government departments, particularly regarding isolation protocol. If you are unwell, the recommendation is you stay at home. 11.01.2022 Can you believe that we made the top charts on iTunes?! Last year, Willoughby Symphony put on a special performance with Pakistani Australian singer-songwriter Mahmood khan. Since then, Mahmood has debuted the album "Mahmood Khan with Willoughby Symphony Orchestra" on iTunes and the response was just a little jaw-dropping. The album made number 1 in the USA, UK, France, Australia, and Top ten in Poland!

Jane, our flautist and artistic director misses performing and seeing you all in the audience. She has put together some beautiful zen music for us. With loneliness and stress levels going up, a bit of meditation is exactly what the doctor ordered. Breath in, breath out and relax.
