Weve come up with an easy heat-and-eat gourmet dinner for two for a fancy night in or just some good cheer.... What you see in the pic is what you get: a beautiful, slow-cooked spiced lamb shoulder with carrot puree, Turkish rolls, a mixed leaf salad with smoked almonds and pickled balsamic onions, and lets not forget, a bottle of good red to go with that too. All it needs is some really simple warming up, and youre set to impress and good to go. You might even have some lamb left over for sandwiches the next day. 14.01.2022 Taturry Wine Dinner, Wednesday 22 June We haven been pouring the fabulous wines of Taturry for awhile now with wonderful feedback, so we are excited to have Luke Curry, the man behind the label, with us. If you are unfamiliar with Taturry, a little information: a belief that a wine is the whole, a sum of its parts, the patch of dirt it is grown, the seasons it experiences, the hands that grow it and the hands that make it. At the heart of Taturry's tenet is place. The first t...o be explored was the Mosselini Vineyard, located on the low rolling hills on the boundary of Merricks North and Balnarring. The second piece to the Taturry puzzle is Applewood Vineyard, located high on a hill in Main Ridge. Dishes featuring the fabulous ducks from Greg and Jodi Clarke near Apollo Bay, and a composed course from L'Artisan Mountain Man to name just two. 12.01.2022 We loved working with Patient Wolf and visiting the distillery was a fantastic experience. Get on down there!! @patientwolfgin PSA Were opening the distillery doors to the public for only the second time since launched #PatientWolfGin over a year ago. Its all happening next Saturday. Come and hang out in the distillery and drink #Brunswicks own straight from the source while gleaming over our customer made German copper still. Therell be free tastings with the distillery, drink specials and you can grab a bottle from our cellar door. Yes!!!

10.01.2022 All good things must come an end eventually.... It has been an amazing ride over the last 6 years, and to be able to leave on a high is a wonderful feeling. Merricote has always been a stepping stone for us, and sometimes you really need to close a door before you can walk through the next. Time for a break to recharge the batteries, then we hope to do it again bigger and better!... Thank you to everyone who has supported our little place, its been an absolute pleasure to look after you. And our wonderful staff over the years, Merricote wouldn't be what it is today without you. We are once again participating in the Restaurant Express lunches, which is two courses and a glass of wine for $40pp. This year we have partnered with Municipal Wines, showcasing their Riesling and Tempranillo from the Whitegate Vineyard in Strathbogie. We are offering this lunch on the following dates: Friday 31 March, 7 April; Saturday 1st and 8th April; Sunday 9th April.
