23.01.2022 Lots more fun botanical and eco dyeing this weekend. Tried cotton, linen, paper, silk, calico and a felted wool scarf.



23.01.2022 Continuing to keep myself busy and creative. Some more dyeing and a textile piece...'Hay Season'.

23.01.2022 More eco/botanical dyeing adventures. Lovely fun night at the farm. Will see what tomorrow brings, when bundles are opened. Chickens keeping a close watch as always.

21.01.2022 Been along time since I've done a dog, after doing so many! Finished a German Shepherd memorial today. He was a pleasure to work on.

21.01.2022 Well here is my entire piece entered into the CrossXpollinatioN adaptation exhibition. Have included some progress pictures for those interested. Four wet felted panels with beading, needle felting, hand and machine stitching with needle felted horses. 'White Caps'. People's choice award coming up online Tues.

21.01.2022 Final page of the textile journal is finished! A very nervous little hare. Now to go back over the entire book and do any little fixes that are bugging me. Hope to do a quick video before it heads off to Tassie.

19.01.2022 Update on weekends Botanical dyeing on recycled Sari silk. Feathers didn't really do much apart from change colour a little. However some lovely results on the silk.

17.01.2022 Fallen Leaves. Another page done. Botanical dyed vintage recycled linen table cloth.

16.01.2022 Getting ready for dyeing day tomorrow. Some stunning cashmere and wool flannel off cuts, can't wait. Even got a bit of stitching done today. Busy busy.

14.01.2022 Brilliant botanical eco dyeing session last night over afew drinks and burning fire. Pashmina wrap, wool scarf and several fabric squares for textile art work. Predominantly using gum, eucalyptus and rose leaves in a pepper corn dye bath.

08.01.2022 Well some exciting happy news. I've been shortlisted for the Xcrosspollination Adaptation exhibition. This will take place in Colac on Friday...all online ofcourse. Everyone is invited, COPACC CrossXpollinatioN has put so much effort into this to help local artists, there is also a wearable art market happening too.
