23.01.2022 As you may be aware, due to COVID-19 our industry has been closed down, therefore Mesmereyes Melbourne is also closed during this time. We WILL BE BACK! As soon as the government give us the green light to reopen we will be back bigger and better than ever. It is important that we all understand the severity of what is going on and do our best to contribute to flattening the curve and helping Australia recover the other side of this. ... It is extremely sad to close the business but fully support the need to take these drastic actions and close our industry as well as many others. Please stay safe and stay at home. We are committed to and uphold strict infection control ALL THE TIME not only now that COVID-19 is here. We are a private salon so only see clients 1 on 1 minimising your exposure to the public. ... We have enforced extra measures during this period which we would appreciate if ALL clients could adhere to: No extra visitors or guests to come to your appointment with you. Only you will be permitted in for your appointment. You will be asked to wash your hands upon arrival. Reschedule if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms or have been exposed to anyone else who also has these symptoms; runny nose, fever, coughing, sore throat. Reschedule if you have been overseas in the past 14 days or have been in contact with someone that has. We encourage you to use this time to relax and snooze. The less we talk the less we are spreading any potential droplets that can transmit COVID 19. We have taken an addictional training specifically on Infection Control related to COVID 19 and have increased our infection control even more so. (We do this already but just so you know) For your peace of mind we are: Increasing gaps between clients so there is no physical cross over and gives us ample time to disinfect every surface. All tools used such as tweezers are disinfected after each appointment. Disposable products are used where possible. Appropriate bedding and towels changed between each client. We wash our hands before and after each appointment. We sanitise hands multiple times during the appointment. We wear hygiene masks. Devices used and touched during appointments will be disinfected each time (for example phones/eftpos/music etc). We have capped the amount of clients we will see each day to minimise exposure. I have a duty of care to keep all my clients safe. This business is also my fulltime income so it is important to keep myself and business safe.
