16.01.2022 September Messy Church! Hi Everyone!! Messy Church is coming to you in two ways in the month of September! Firstly, there is a Zoom session and secondly, a pack of creative activities for the whole family to enjoy.... Here is a video link that explains in detail these activities - https://drive.google.com//1GX44bF_FGXLgVv_7-pJUpDe40/view The Zoom LEGO session is this Saturday 26th September at 4.30pm. The link is - https://deakin.zoom.us/j/7448187001 For this on-line session you need to - Before Saturday read and watch the Busted Power point slides below created by our team member Beth Choose one of the stories mentioned in the presentation and build a LEGO (or other construction material) scene prior to the Zoom session Join us on Zoom at 4.30pm using the above link and be ready to share and talk briefly about your build After we've looked at all the builds, revisited the Busted story, we'll have some concluding prayer and wish everyone a happy second week of the school holidays The other option, if you (and yours) are ‘well and truly over Zoom,’ is as follows With the pack coming to you in the mail, engage with the Busted Powerpoint story and do as many or as few of the activities in the pack as you desire. Whether you are at the Zoom or enjoying the pack of activities (or both), we hope you have a restorative school holiday break in this time of Covid-19. 16.01.2022 Hi Everyone. After a monumental Covid-2020, we are amazed to find ourselves in the season of Advent - when we prepare for the birth of Jesus! To help your family navigate this important time, we have posted a pack of Christmas activities. We hope that there are at least one or two that your family might engage with. ... Also, over the next 4 weeks you will receive, in the mail, an excerpt of the story of Jesus birth with a family discussion activity. These story excerpts will also be presented visually through the Facebook page and email. Finally, we are excited to tell you that there will be a live Christmas event on Sunday 20th December and Monday 21st December. Between 6-8pm we are presenting an outdoor interactive telling of the Christmas story at the church. You are invited to come and enjoy a Covid-observed BYO picnic tea on the grass with other Messy Church families. More to come on this event soon! Hope you are having a great week!!
