24.01.2022 Look what Sophia received in the mail today! A Fellowship band, made by Bianca during Paul's "curated meaning making activity" in the livestream service the other week. What a beautiful way for the kids to keep in touch and show their friendship! Can't wait til we can have Messy Church again and play with you in "real time!"

24.01.2022 Here's some fun activities for the Livestream on Sunday - for people of any age! Join us on Facebook at 10 am!

22.01.2022 Take 2 with this post from last weekend. Here's the Messy Church Community enjoying their worship time together. We read about Jairus' Daughter, showed each other our crafty prayer creations and then were lead in prayer by Adele Voutier who had her first turn at leading the group! She rocked it! We also had fun singing with Cathie (As usual.) My favorite bit is how the craft activities morph and change into something different but creative in every home - the rules are "Make something up along these lines with whatever you can find!" So it's always fun to see what we ends up appearing. See you soon, friends!

21.01.2022 Don't forget! Messy Miners is TOMORROW at 2:30!

18.01.2022 The Banyule Network has 2 Holy Habits Circles that are exploring the book "Holy Habits" by Andrew Roberts. A third is startling shortly, and we're hoping to grow some more. These groups explore what it means to follow Jesus, to be Disciples and intentionally build a community together. The Friday Group made this short video to give you a window into our Holy Habits Circle, in the hope that it encourages you to join another Fellowship Circle. Come - join us on the Adventure of Discipleship! :-)

10.01.2022 The Messy Miners explored the story of Nehemiah in Minecraft yesterday! Thanks to Jonte, Jacob, Oliver and Sophia for their hard work - but particularly to Jonte of masterminding the whole thing. Thanks to the Adult 'support' leaders who also rocked: Mel, Paul V, Paul M and Cathie. And thanks particularly to our friend Beth Barnett for letting us adapt one of your poetic playdoh scripts! Here are some screenshots of the action - it's going to take a while to edit video this week!

10.01.2022 Yesterday we had our first ever Messy Minecraft session! Kids from all over the place gathered and heard the story of the Wise and Foolish Builders, and then enjoyed a build challenge of their own! Here's a little clip of the fun that we had. :-)

10.01.2022 Join Sandy and Soph as they talk about Messy Church in Banyule with other Messy Churches around the world!

10.01.2022 Here's the clip of last month's Messy Miners story. The story of the prophet Nehemiah! Thanks to Beth Barnett for letting us adapt your script, to our very clever build team of kids and teens, and to the adults who helped out. And thanks to everyone who joined us for the fun!

08.01.2022 Calling all singers and Musicians! If you'd like to join in the next Choir Video, see tomorrow's Banyule Network email, or contact Sandy (or PM this page) for access to the lead track. The two songs this time are "For Everyone Born, a Place at the Table" and "Brother, Sister Let me Serve you." All those who take part must have a WWCC registered with the Network. It's a simple process and Sandy or John Rowe can talk you through it if you need help. Join us! The more, the merrier!

You can find the "Curated Meaning Making Resources" to engage with the bible readings on the Banyule Network Website (https://banyuleuc.org.au/.../worship-resources-for.../) and we'd love it if you added your response to the blog post so we can share your wonderings, understandings and enjoy your creativity!
