24.01.2022 Hi Messy 'Families, We hope today went well for you, especially those who were off to school for the first time after these months of shut down. Here's Penny's Messy May from last Sunday!: "HOW I FOUND IT: It was so different going through everything at home.... I made the Chinese flag and it took longer to make than I thought mainly because I decided to cut out the stars rather than just draw them. It flew well in the breeze. The message I wrote was for the Chinese government to allow Christians to be more open with their worship and talk about their beliefs. The Word Search puzzle took a while to complete as did the plane, following the written instructions. The plane flew a lot further than the kite! It was a time to think about all the world and suffering of others and pray for all people and think about the Apostles and their courageous following of Jesus’ teachings. Dale was part of Messy too he cooked the meal of fried rice and beef with black bean sauce, which was yummy. We ate at 7.00pm! Penny.

18.01.2022 Messy May! Here’s Kären Hayden’s contribution: The kite came from YouTube, and did not fly too well, but I enjoyed making it, and thinking of my prayer to put on it. The pizza was easy and yummy - we said a prayer for Italy and it’s people. We would love you to share too. Stay tuned for Messy June!

17.01.2022 Hello Messy Families, and welcome to Messy June! This month the theme is "Faithful Sheep", or "Sheep V's Goat". We have sent out an email, with a reflection, bible story and suggested activities. If you haven't received it, and would like to, please message us, or email: [email protected].... We wish you all well and safe in this unsettled time we find ourselves in. The Messy Church Team.

16.01.2022 Hello Messy Families! We hope you are well, first and foremost, and that you are managing to adjust to all the huge changes to our lives that have occurred, and will continue to be part of our lives for a while. We have today, emailed ideas and activities we would have shared with you, had we been able to meet for Messy Church next Sunday.... The theme for May Messy links in with the Church’s season of Pentecost which is celebrated on the 31st of May, and our email has ideas for activities and food. Please message us if you do not receive the email, and would like to.

13.01.2022 Hi there Messy Families, Penny sent these pic's in - she delayed Messy Church "Faithful Sheep" or "Sheep V's Goats" (last Sunday) till Thursday, so she could do the activities with her grandchildren ages 2 and 5. They also discussed Jesus, and the differences between sheep and goats and the importance of saying thank you to people and being grateful for those who do things to help us. ... The children did colourful drawings on the Celtic Ring page and the crafts and food were fun and sticky to make. The edible sheep were too sweet for them to eat at one time. They took the other half home to eat later.

11.01.2022 Hello Messy Church Families, We hope you were able to enjoy the wonderful sunshine today, our Messy June day, Here is Kären’s efforts at the activities that were emailed out: Here are my edible sheep - they look more like frogs and the legs fell off when I picked them up, but they tasted good! I went better with my Sheep face, which I could make outside in the sun. ... Dinner was a lamb curry thing, which tasted better than it looked .... and was quick and tasty. I also read through, and thought about, Robyn’s Bible story which I thought was very good! See more
