23.01.2022 As you may have been expecting, we have unfortunately had to make the decision to postpone this year's Metal United Down Under nationwide. With the current health risks and certain restrictions regarding the COVID-19 VIRUS, the safest and most responsible response to this unfortunate situation will be to postpone the event. We are working hard behind the scenes so please STAY TUNED for information regarding the new date!... We advise every metalhead to please stay safe during these difficult times and take all necessary precautions to remain healthy. We also highly advice you show support to local artists throughput these tough times, maybe treat yourself to some merch, purchase music/subscriptions, share content via social media and of course attend gigs once you are able to again!

03.01.2022 The Metal United Down Under team is preparing the eighth round. MUDU had to be postponed in April and now we are working on a new date and participating cities. After releasing two physical copies of our compilations in 2017 and 2018, we decided to go digital with Bandcamp compilations. Since COVID-19 moved almost everything to the digital lands, a digital MUDU compilation makes sense. The physical CDs were distributed at the MUDU shows but also at Wacken Open Air and other festivals of the European Festival Summer. Now that this is out of the question for 2020, we reach most of the fans other the digital platforms at least for now. Would you like your band featured in one of the MUDU compilations?
