20.01.2022 Let’s hold off for now.. As we all know Stage 4 lockdowns are now in place for the following 6 weeks with strict guidelines and protocols in place. The current Stage 4 regulations relating to exercise are as follows:... -You can leave home to exercise and travel no more than 5klm from where you live. -You can exercise with one other person you live with, or a friend or family member but do not travel outside the 5 klm radius. -You must limit your exercise to once a day for one hour only. In addition to the above information, Carey Grammar have temporarily closed the Kew facility for the next 6 weeks during 2.0 lockdown . So Me Time Training will temporarily put a hold on face to face Personal Training sessions for now. At Me Time Training we will keep being committed to your health, fitness and wellbeing. 09.01.2022 My great friend Laurel Gorman who as of Thursday March 19 ran a mental health recreation program at Kew Rec Centre, and surrounding locations in Boroondara, and has done so for over 5 years. Unfortunately lost her job on this day. This vital community program has also ceased. But being the person she is, Laurel has picked up the ball and run with it . Laurel Gorman with a group of other volunteers from Boroondara Community Outreach are running and providing cooked meals for ...up to 100 people in the Boroondara area that experience mental illness and homelessness. They have no food and very little access to food. They are now seeking people who can donate dry good food staples. If you know of any business temporarily closed and have any food they need to get rid of sooner than later. Monetary donations are welcomed so the team can purchase staples - however big or small.
