19.01.2022 It was a great day of sailing at Port River Sailing Club for the first metro trial regatta of the 2012/13 season. The breeze averaged at approximately 20 knots and there were 9 schools involved comprising of 14 teams who competed. A total of 35 races were sailed and the results were as followed:... St Michaels - 5 wins Immanuel B - 5 wins OVC Stingrays - 4 wins Immanuel A - 4 wins Immanuel C - 4 wins Immanuel D - 3 wins St Peters - 2 wins Walford Green - 2 wins OVC Dolphins - 1 win OVC Sharks - 1 win St Peters/PAC composite - 1 win Scotch - 1 win St. Johns - 1 win Walford Gold - 1 win St Michaels did a great job of mentoring the new teams. Helping out when they were in trouble & splitting from their team to show the inexperienced teams how to team race. Great job! Happy holidays and see you in 2013 Cheers, The MSTS team

13.01.2022 The Metro Schools Team Sailing (MSTS) Association welcomes you all to the 2012/13 season. We have announced our executive committee for this year and we would like to thank Lyn Corbett for staying on for another year, and for accepting the role of Chairperson. Thanks must also go to Lynda Leitner who has accepted the role of secretary and to Matt Pernini who has accepted the role of Treasurer. Thanks must also go to those who have accepted positions as members on the committ...ee: Dave Higgins, Louise Philcox, Harry Fisher and Matt Young. Last season was a great success with St Michaels College being the first Metropolitan School to take the State Championship trophy away from the city of Port Lincoln as well as St Michaels and Immanuel College representing the state along with St Josephs (Port Lincoln) at the Australian Schools Team Racing Championships in Melbourne in July. We hope to replicate this success this season and build team sailing in Adelaide. This page will post events for committee meetings, which everyone is welcome to attend. 07.01.2022 The 1st Metropolitan Trial Regatta is scheduled for next Sunday the 11th of November. Arrival at 8:00am Rigged and ready by 8:30am First race starting at 9:00am... Each team must nominate via the MSTS website. A link will be provided when the site is ready. If there are any technical difficulties you may register on the day. 06.01.2022 The MSTS Association has finalised the dates for this terms team sailing regattas. Sunday 24th of February is the first regatta and it will be held at the Port River Sailing Club, Snowdens Beach. These regattas dont just happen, there is a lot of organizing that must happen and all schools need to be in the loop.... On Tuesday the 19th of February we will be hosting a committee meeting at Adelaide Sailing Club at 7pm and every school needs to have at least one representative in attendance in order to compete. Get excited for a big term in team sailing! Term 1 Regtta Dates: 24/2 - Metro Trial (PRSC) 24/3 - Metro Trial (West Lakes, still to be confirmed) 7/4 - Metro Championships (PRSC) 25-27/4 - State Championships (Port Lincoln Yacht Club)
