24.01.2022 Tonight Graduate House hosted its first Formal Dinner an historic moment in the Colleges history. Students, academics, and members of staff were welcomed by the Dean of Graduate House, Dr Antone Martinho-Truswell. Common meals are among the most important part of communal life at College an opportunity to meet friends and colleagues from other disciplines.

17.01.2022 Today was an important day in the history of the College. The Chancellor of the University, Ms Belinda Hutchinson AM, officially opened the Ivan Head and McMill...an Buildings. We are grateful to the Most Revd Dr Glenn Davies, Archbishop of Sydney, who was present to dedicate both of the buildings. As well as the Chair of College Council, Mr Mark Elliott, the Warden of the College, Dr Don Markwell, gave a speech to mark this special occasion. He thanked Dr Ivan Head and Mr Stephen McMillan, for whom the new buildings are named, as well as the many others who made the project possible. 14.01.2022 Last night the 2020 Middle Prefect, Head of the Middle Common Room Committee, Miss Eveline Dwyer, attended her first Council Meeting after receiving an invitation from the Warden and Fellows. Following the 2019 commencement of our co-educational Graduate House community, and the student elections last year, Eveline has become the first female student to represent her peers at the Council governance level of Australias first College since St Pauls was formed over 160 years ago. Congratulations Eveline on earning the support of your peers, receiving this much deserved honour, and best of luck representing Graduate House in 2020!

12.01.2022 St Pauls College has won the inaugural Saints Cup! Last night our Graduate House students participated in the final round in the inaugural Saints Cup, bringing the cup home for St Pauls! The Saints Cup is a sporting competition between the two Graduate Houses of the University of Sydney, Sancta Sophia and St Pauls. The final round of the Saints Cup provided two closely contested basketball games, with our womens team coming out on top while our mens team were narrowly defeated. The womens win secured the cup for St Pauls. Congratulations to all who competed in the basketball and all of the Saints Cup fixtures in 2019

11.01.2022 Congratulations to Dr Andrew Bell on his appointment as President of the NSW Court of Appeal. Dr Bell was recently at Graduate House for the unveiling of the sculpture by Ayako Saito, Heavens Door, which forms the centrepiece of the Colleges new quadrangle.

10.01.2022 All are welcome to join the students of Graduate House for an evening of music including solo piano, string quartet, guitar and strings. Guests include soloist Anthony Chen, and the recent winners of the prestigious Westheimer String Quartet Fellowship from the Sydney Conservatorium. 08.01.2022 St Pauls College Graduate House is delighted to share that Mr Amer Nasr has been elected the President of the Sydney University Law Society, to be confirmed by this years executive on Thursday evening at a SULS Special General Meeting. Amer is a first year Juris Doctor (JD) student, having arrived in Sydney following the completion of a Bachelor of Economics and Finance at New York University studying at both the New York City and Abu Dhabi campuses on a full scholarship. He is only the second JD student to be elected President in the last fifteen years; congratulations Amer! Pictured is the Dean of Graduate House, Dr Antone Martinho-Truswell, alongside Amer and Professor Simon Bronitt, the Dean of the University of Sydney Law School, who is a Senior Member of Graduate House.

06.01.2022 There was more to Formal Dinner in Graduate House on Monday, where members marked the passage of the inaugural Middle Common Room constitution over the weekend. The passage of the constitution represents an important milestone in the building of the Graduate House community, forming the basis of student leadership in the House. During dinner, Tim Berney-Gibson shared two original poems, and music student Dennis van Rooyen performed Bach.

04.01.2022 St Pauls College Graduate House held its Annual General Meeting last night, during which the 2019 inaugural Middle Common Room Executive was thanked for its contribution to College. Mr Behzad Memarzadeh and his leadership team have done a fantastic job with the added challenges presented by commencing a new community, setting precedents, and promoting social, cultural, and sporting events. Congratulations to Miss Eveline Dwyer and the 2020 Executive on their election and best of luck for the year ahead.
