04.01.2022 This past summer is one that most Australians will not forget. The images of devastation to our landscape, homes and communities will stay with us for years to ...come. So too will the lives lost, including those from our own firefighting community. Although today we mark International Firefighters' Day very differently to recent years, the significance of this day is no less than those where we gathered to pay our respects. We honour those fallen, both through the years in Western Australia and more recently, the tragic losses felt by our brothers and sisters in the Eastern States.
