12.01.2022 **WADE AVENUE UPDATE** Leeton Shire Council wishes to provide an update to the local community on the current civil works that are being undertaken in Wade Aven...ue. We have successfully removed 9 historical fuel tanks from underneath the footpath dating back to the 1940s. The area is now being back-filled with appropriate fill and surface material to allow for pedestrian use by the end of next week. These works have been very important towards finalising the design for the Wade Avenue CBD Enhancement Project which we anticipate will be underway in early October. We will continue to keep you updated as this project progresses. Happy Friday Everyone!
