20.01.2022 LXRP have been dishonest for months and appear to be making no meaningful attempt to save trees. Last night they admitted "all would be going" apart from some " no go areas". This is very hard to accept but not unexpected given how major infrastructure projects are managed. SPA just building as fast and as cheaply as they can.... The one beacon of hope should be the Landscape revegetation plans although decades before this will be habitat. This evening concerned community members gathered in Railway Rd, Briar Hill, near the Plenty River to pay their respects and to commerate the beautiful trees that are expected to go including an ancient manna gum.
