Russell cross. 9 yrs of age. Special needs animal, has no eyes, no teeth and a skin condition which leaves him with patchy fur and unable to wear a collar. Is microchipped. 23.01.2022 I started my own business Geelong Loans late last year - give me a call and the opportunity to save you money

23.01.2022 The Central Geelong taskforce is working on a project - city loop bus - it aims to extend the current park and ride service to be all day so if you work part time hours you can use it but in regards to the hospital you will be able to use the service to get to Barwon health. This is a BUDGETED project that I worked on last year and is expected to come to fruition later this year. This will give people the flexibility to stay longer if an appointment is not on time. And just as an aside when I took my daughter to a number of appointments at the childrens I had to pay for parking so its not just a Geelong hospital problem and not just one for geelong city council to solve..... To have your say on solutions please go to the CoGG website and complete our parking survey. So we can design and develop a plan for the future.

22.01.2022 Amazing new advertisement by Geelongs TAC. #Towards Zero. So effective

21.01.2022 I had a lovely time talking with the Portarlington CWA. Interesting to hear what the ladies thought about the CBD. Loved the idea of the city loop bus so they can get around town easier. And a very interesting comment about both Market Square and Westfield not being overly seniors friendly. Next Tuesday I am at the Love Central Geelong Marketing meeting and I will raise this as an opportunity for Council to work with those two companies for possible improvements. My daughter Mietta loved all the attention, and enjoyed the morning tea!

21.01.2022 Lovely evening at the Committee for Geelong Annual Dinner. Some more details on the Geelong planning Authority. Peter Dorling Chair, Janet Dore, Jill Smith, Robert Costa and Roz Hanson who is also on the Central Geelong Task Force. Looking forward to working with them to make the Central Geelong Action Plan happen so much faster.

19.01.2022 Hi all Geelong West residents, Pakington St traders, and shoppers. Please take the time to contribute to the survey on toilet upgrades. http://www.geelongaustralia.com.au//i/8d2a8b507ebe88f.aspx

16.01.2022 This weeks story. Heavy vehicle restriction trial for Malop and Mercer sts. Ryrie, mcKillop controlled by state government. Council leading the charge on moving trucks further south. Trucks delivering to CBD businesses face no restrictions.

15.01.2022 According to Roy Morgan Research Shadow treasurer Chris Bowen will use a National Press Club speech today to highlight the impact of a credit rating downgrade ...on the Australian economy. He will argue that the loss of the nations "AAA" credit rating would be felt by households, businesses and governments. Banks would face a ratings downgrade, which would result in higher interest rates for mortgage and business loan customers. Bowen will also warn that a ratings downgrade would also make Australia more vulnerable to global economic shocks. If you have been delaying a review on your interest rate, now is a great time to do it.

10.01.2022 Do you know what your interest rate is on your home loan? With the reserve bank reducing rates by .25% last week its quite likely that you could secure a home loan rate under 4%. As you know Ive started my own mortgage broking firm. www.geelongloans.com.au. So give me a call on 5229 8505 so that I can help you.

10.01.2022 Well done Lindsay.

07.01.2022 The momentum on the CBD revitalisation is growing - so proud of the work done over the past 3 years to get the taskforce started and now to see some strategic action that will make a long term sustainable difference

07.01.2022 With minor to moderate flooding occurring in Geelong and surrounding regions, its a timely reminder to preregister with Volunteering Victorias HelpOUT emergen...cy volunteering service. Then, if and when affected communities need help you may be called upon. No requests for volunteers have been received yet. http://volunteeringvictoria.org.au/emergency-volunteering/

07.01.2022 Have you been thinking about buying an investment property for a while now - but just not got around to it. I can take the stress out of the finance side comparing hundreds of loans and dealing with the banks or other lenders to get it done for you. All you have to do is the fun part of finding the property and if you are too time poor for that task I can refer you to experienced property investors for advice on that too. No time like the present!

06.01.2022 Our regular Big Issue seller, (atSafeway in Pako) is on the front page of this issue. So proud I had mine autographed.

02.01.2022 Check out the competition I am running with Hamper Girl of Lara. Make an appointment with me at Geelong Loans for a free finance health check. See if you can be paying less on your current mortgage or if you can get into your first home or is it time to buy an investment property. Its a no obligation free service - and you could win a beautiful hamper too.

02.01.2022 Passionate group of central geelong traders working together.

01.01.2022 As chair of the Central Geelong task force I just thought I would add some addition background to the article in todays Geelong Addy. With a 7 Million dollar budget black hole if car parking is made free, serious decisions have to be made about reducing services and infrastructure investment or increasing rates. The central Geelong task force is working on a car parking strategy that is focused on increasing the accessibility of car parks in the CBD. This includes the numb...er of car parks, the location of multilevel parking facilities and the cost effectiveness of delivering this to business and shoppers in the CBD. The targets of the Central Geelong action plan is to double students numbers, increase workers by 9000, and increase the number of people living in the CBD to 10,000. To support this key outcome of more people in our CBD we will need more car parking. This is currently highlighted by the parking demand both for patients and the workforce at Barwon health. I share the community frustration on parking at the hospital, however free does not solve the length of stay, or parking availability issues.

01.01.2022 Hello friends! Just touching base as I havent been putting much up here as Ive been so busy helping to change lives in my role as a Broker for Geelong Loans. I just had to share this because so many people first got into their home loan around 10-15 years ago and might be thinking, "its not that much longer until we are paid off". But the interest rates then were so much higher, particularly if you are with one of the big banks. In my work I am seeing so many people ...paying way way too much interest. We are at historical lows at the moment and the savings on refinancing can astound you. Id love to help you discover potential savings. Please contact me for a no obligiation no cost appraisal. I can compare numerous lenders for you and you might just fall off your chair with the result! You can contact me via the button on the Geelong Loans facebook page or at my website www.geelongloans.com.au/contact Look forward to hearing from you! - Michelle

01.01.2022 Please take the time to fill out this survey. We want to understand where you park?why you park there? What would you like to see in terms of increased parking availability. If we double the people living in the city increase the workforce by 9000 and double student numbers we will need more parking or people choosing other modes of transport. This survey is to assist us in building a strategy for effective car use and access into the CBD.
