25.01.2022 Only 4 days left before we can start completing 2020 tax returns

25.01.2022 2 days to get your 2019 PAYG Payment Summaries lodged with the ATO

25.01.2022 Love that the ATO have identified the need to bring out a podcast relating to working from home during COVID & not being able to claim your new coffee machine or pyjamas (Over the past 22years Ive been asked about some weird & wonderful possible deductions but not pjs as a uniform )

24.01.2022 Great news for all having issues with their MyGov account, your registered tax agent can also access your information via our Tax Agent Portal/Online Services

24.01.2022 Wow, & Im sure even more have registered today!!! If you havent registered yet, please do so at https://www.ato.gov.au/General/Gen/JobKeeper-payment/

24.01.2022 Handy information for those working from home

22.01.2022 Oh wow.....this is why getting a registered agent to assist in completing your tax is a good idea

22.01.2022 Reminder to all clients about claiming their May2020 JobKeeper payments

21.01.2022 While we are all finalising 2020 tax planning before 30/06/2020, we are reminded of the difference between tax minimisation & tax avoidance! If youre unsure, always best to check with a registered tax agent or the ATO.....

21.01.2022 Ive been trying to educate clients about this very thing.....there arent any standard claims you must have incurred the expense, have records to justify your claims & not been reimbursed by your employer

19.01.2022 Happy Easter I know for most, it is an Easter unlike any other, but please stay safe & be kind to yourself & your loved ones

18.01.2022 Hope this helps anyone who is feeling overwhelmed

18.01.2022 Rates changed yesterday

17.01.2022 Hot off the press from Xero - JobKeepers work around https://central.xero.com//Record-JobKeeper-payments-while-

17.01.2022 Yay.....an extra week to complete registrations & ensure employee pays are in line with whats required

17.01.2022 Funniest email Ive received from a client in my 22 years of being an accountant

17.01.2022 Great announcement today for employers AND sole traders (without employees)! Still getting my head around the details, but if I can help with anyones questions, please reach out

15.01.2022 FYI - dont forget to complete your monthly declaration to ensure you get paid the JobKeeper payments

14.01.2022 If anyone needs assistance, extended hours are in place

14.01.2022 Less than 1 week til Income Statements are due to be finalised

14.01.2022 Sole Traders - useful informations regarding JobKeeper Payments

14.01.2022 Updated information has now been release regarding the JobKeeper payment

14.01.2022 Have you lodged your TPAR?? Only 18 days from due date

12.01.2022 Great work ATO on extending your hours outside ordinary business hours

11.01.2022 Thank you to my beautiful clients for my very generous & thoughtful gifts today (nothing like a man on a motorbike delivering me bourbon to truly brighten my long & exhausting week )

11.01.2022 A reminder to all employers that hold meetings after-hours or on employees days off & expect attendance

10.01.2022 With many of us working from home during these challenging times, I have had a lot of people asking me how I ever got anything done during my 7 years of working from home, so I thought I would share some tips:- Set work hours Take breaks (you would at work so you still should at home!) GET OUT OF YOUR PJs EVERYDAY... Dont do your housework Stay in touch with your team mates (just because they are not next to you/in the next room, doesnt mean you still cant FaceTime/Skype/Call/Email) If you can, keep a dedicated workspace Set ground rules with your family/housemates (this may be difficult if your children are home from school) Sign out when the day is over especially if using personal devices Try to switch off - there is only so much you can get done in a day, (unless urgent depending on your work/deadlines) it can wait until tomorrow!! If anyone needs any assistance or has any queries, my phone is always on

10.01.2022 A beautiful gesture from a friend & client to make sure I was taking care of myself during this very stressful & exhausting time Please remember to check in on each other, & if theres anything I can help with (advice, deciphering government announcements, or just a chat) please reach out

08.01.2022 To all those currently working from home

07.01.2022 Ive been asked this a lot lately, here it is straight from the ATO.....once youre in, youre in

07.01.2022 Funniest email I’ve received from a client in my 22 years of being an accountant

06.01.2022 Another helpful tip

04.01.2022 Less than a month to take advantage of the Super Amnesty..... has your business paid its employees super up to 31/03/2018? If not, this may help you

01.01.2022 Hopefully some good news for Sole Traders in the coming days https://www.smh.com.au//relief-for-sole-traders-expected-i

01.01.2022 Reminder for all employers

01.01.2022 Love that this ad actually portrays CPAs as more then boring number crunchers A small business should see their accountant as their trusted advisor to help in so many more ways then just completing compliance work
