04.01.2022 Today Diabetes Australia has received reports from a number of people with diabetes who have downloaded the Australian Government COVIDSafe app to their smartph...one and have experienced connection problems with their continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) apps. Diabetes Australia has advised the Department of Health that there may be an issue. If your clients have downloaded the COVIDSafe app and use a smartphone app with their CGM, they may wish to closely monitor to see if they have any connectivity issues. If your clients are worried, they should temporarily uninstall the COVIDSafe app from their phones. If your clients have experienced any issues since downloading the COVIDSafe app, please let us know at [email protected]. We will update you as soon as more information comes to hand. See more
