20.01.2022 No matter how much I want to, I cannot force change on those I care about. I can provide all I have to give: information, love and care to help on their journey. But ultimately to change, this decision is their own.... I constantly need to remind myself of this. Its ok for me to care, but its not ok to carry anothers burden. It does not help them. Am I alone in this?

16.01.2022 Motivation for me stems from creating and maintaining habits over time. Bring structure to your life, repeat the structure over time to create the habit, when you see the results you find motivation. Start small, start little and start often. Five to ten minutes of movement every morning truly helps to lift my mindset - do I currently do it every day? 10.01.2022 Tough times never last, but tough people do ~ Robert Schuller Post second lockdown, restrictions easing and now finding a new normal. My business has adapted from being gym based to now (for the time being at least) working from my home gym. My little space developed from an empty shell of a shed to being equipped with everything I need to effectively train myself and my clients: kettlebells, soft matted floor space, pull up bar, rower, bands. Simple. I really don’t need mu...ch. Now with a full 1:1 client base I’ve relaunched 7 weekly small group classes focussing on Kettlebell and Animal Flow Movement Play, I’m humbled to see that most of these classes have been fully booked - it truely gives me the warm and fuzzies knowing the interest in the type of fitness and movement I promote. 05.01.2022 I nominated several people for a challenge yesterday. I thought the challenge was an opportunity to highlight women who I admire that have a strong & positive influence in my life, to recognise how grateful I am for all that they are and to circulate a positive message amongst women. Im lucky to be surrounded by women who rise by lifting each other up. Its not often enough that theyre told how amazing they are. Although, the message of this challenge was lost before reachi...ng me. I now recognise that the challenge had been morphed into something beyond where it started: the challenge began to highlight the amount of femicides in Turkey. In 2019 shockingly to me there were almost 500 recorded female murders, plus a large number unrecorded. These murders arent being given the attention deserved (and obviously should not be happening!!), and the challenge of posting a black & white image of yourself was created to draw more attention to the worth of these women/girls lives to make people be held accountable. Thanks to @beelzeboobz post being heavily circulated Im now wiser...and I want others to be able to learn and recognise this reality. We are not wrong to lift each other up with a challenge thats purpose was lost, but I would feel so very wrong not to acknowledge my misinterpretation and lack of knowledge. I may not be able to change the world, but I can change my world.

05.01.2022 Yesterday I received some beyond terrible news that broke my heart, he left the world sooner than everyone would have chosen - everyone except himself. Leaving loved ones searching with unanswerable questions and so much grief and loss that can only be healed with unmeasurable time. Now more than ever is the time to reach out to those you love, those who sometimes struggle, those who may be alone or in need, those who dont at all show any signs but those that need you now more than ever.
