Monaco is actually smaller than Central Park in NYC and you can walk from one side to the other in less than an hour! ... Monaco has been ruled by the Grimaldi family for over 700 years. The residents of Monaco (less than 10,000) do not pay tax and are not allowed to gamble, or even visit the casino. The elegant façade and panache interiors of the Monte-Carlo Casino has been a filming location of three James Bond Films: Casino Royale, GoldenEye, and Never Say Never Again. There is no airport in Monaco - however you can arrive by train, yacht or helicopter. In fact, during peak times, a helicopter lands every 20 minutes at Monaco's heliport!
