22.01.2022 Saw some excellent local heritage at the old Tuggeranong Schoolhouse Museum in Chisholm yesterday. Thanks to the National Trust Australia - ACT for inviting me along.

19.01.2022 Congratulation to the twenty-two new corrections officers who graduated today and have joined ACT Corrective Services. You should feel proud of completing training and are joining a great team that helps keep the Canberra community safe.

18.01.2022 Today may be grey, but spring and Floriade are not too far away.

03.01.2022 On Wear Orange Wednesday we recognise State Emergency Services volunteers for their dedicated service to the community. Our ACT SES volunteers have had an especially busy time over the past 18 months. Volunteers responded to more storms and flood due to the La Nina weather event and record-breaking hailstorms and assisted ACT Policing in search and rescues. ... They also worked alongside our firefighters during the Black Summer Fires and assisted ACT Health with COVID-19 compliance checks during Canberra’s lockdown. #ThankYouSES

02.01.2022 We've opened a new breeding facility for the endangered Grassland Earless at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. Six dragons have recently arrived from Melbourne. They have a purpose-build quarantine facility to ensure they're healthy. Each dragon has its own space with everything it needs, such as a burrow, grasses to climb on and a basking platform.
