23.01.2022 Product focus: UltraGard Fusion Nano Ceramic premium automotive window film. Q. Why is the Fusion range so good? A. There are a number of key reasons to this...... * (TiN) Titanium Nitride Nano Ceramic components built into the film for consistent, stabilized and sustained Infrared rejection performance. * Twin heavy duty gauge polyester (2 mil) construction for maximized consistency, usability and heat forming properties * Time tested, quality and field proven adhesives that last for both the mounting and laminating. * It does not contain any organic IR absorbing additives that fade and reduce the films performance over time * Fusion is a true nano ceramic automotive film, built with the very highest quality components that is designed to hold it's high solar performance for the life of a vehicle Since releasing the Fusion range in 2012, it's popularity has grown each year to now become our most distributed automotive film line. There is only 1 UltraGard Fusion... Many of Australia's top glass tinting businesses now offer this supreme product... If you want the best, Ask for it by name.

14.01.2022 The darker the better right? Let's put an old myth to bed and shed some 'light' on why. Total Solar Energy Rejected is the common term used to promote the heat ...rejection performance of a window film. The higher the number, the better overall solar heat is rejected from entering through a window. Q. So, Does a darker shade mean better heat block? Answer... No. The solar performance of a particular window film has a great deal to do with the technology involved in the manufacturing process of the film itself. A dye based film will absorb high amounts of energy and often very little rejection of important parts of the solar energy spectrum such as NIR (Near Infrared energy) Using Nano technology, manufacturers have the capacity to control the size of the particles that go into the production of window film at the molecular level. And with this, control the parts of the sun's energy to allow to enter the film such as visible light, and reject other parts such as Infrared light and UV that can cause us discomfort and long term damage. The great thing about the amazing ability of window film is the ability to offer protection from damaging energy that comes from the sun, whilst not needing to install dark films that can become a hazard for night driving. So be sure to ask for a legal shade from a reputable company that can offer the latest in window film technologies.

02.01.2022 NSW auto tinters notification. New regulations for NSW to bring VLT limits in line with WA, SA, QLD, ACT. This change in legislation now allows for a Visible li...ght transmission of 20% on all glass rear of the drivers door glass. This is a more fair and equal playing field now when coming up against pre tinted factory glass. And in many cases will allow a light VLT film to be applied to existing privacy glass to improve UV protection and solar performance. This is a great time for the industry and thanks must go out to our industry association. WFAANZ.
