25.01.2022 This driveway was poured with integral terracotta colour, mixed in the concrete truck. Colour can be added in various ways. 19.01.2022 Construction on Magnetic Island Although the views are spectacular, especially at the moment, construction works on a tropical island can be interesting. A water mains leak in Nelly Bay last Friday meant that the batch plant couldn't mix and we had to cancel our pump from town. Rebooking the pump was an issue due to high demand and the low tides this week, causing a potential blow-out of hire time.... Thanks to Kersh Concrete Pumping for being able to get over from the mainland today so we can get the concrete in for this stunning Cool Shades Australia structure. #miconcrete #magneticisland #concrete #winterbliss #slab #construction #islandconstruction

This customer says that there is still an ambient light emitting from his Solar-Lit concrete at 4.30am when he is off to work. Others have told us it is still glowing when the sun comes up. We had been researching this for around 2 years, procured a supplier and started with some samples. To see them at night was incredible!! With... a safely lit place to put your foot, no lights needed to be left on. Four years later we have completed many works using this finish and our customers all rave about our designs. 02.01.2022 A beautiful new driveway and TCC approved cross-over showing various stages involved, including excavation, compaction, forming up the area, laying a moisture membrane, laying and fixing steel then setting up on bar chairs ready for concrete. Some jobs require a concrete pump to be brought over from Townsville on the barge. 02.01.2022 A Master Builders update: Construction is still seen as an essential service and we will be continuing to complete quoted jobs on Magnetic Island until further notice. We will be keeping the 1 person per 4m2 rule with our clients and employees and Magnetic Islander safety will be our highest priority.
