22.01.2022 Bush turkeys are now on the move destroying beautifully manicured lawns and gardens all over the upper and lower North Shore of Sydney to make their two metre high nests. Once you have male bush turkey in your garden the most humane and efficient way of removing him is relocation. Putting chicken mesh and tarps all over the garden is a waste of time and money and it doesn't look good. Helpfull hints of reducing the chances of getting an unwanted male bush turkey in your backy...ard. Remove all leaves from the garden regularly and cover your compost heap. Come July fertilize your garden with a very smelley fertilizer at least once a month. 19.01.2022 It's winter time and possums are making your nice warm roof cavitys their home.A d.i.y method of removing a troublesome possom from your roof cavity is to locate ther entry point. Observe at night time how many possums vacate the entry point. The next night count the possums vacating the roof.When they are all outside fill the entry holes with chicken mesh and apply expandafoam. At about six o'clock in the morning you are going to have some very upset possums who can't gain a...cess to their home because their entry is blocked. He had regular termite inspections every year but the insulation in the roof had concealed the damage.Lucky for him it was old damage with no termite activity.
