25.01.2022 One of our clients taking delivery of our latest product. The Mictronix solar skid. This unit is designed to be portable for clients who need a mobile power solution such as site sheds and construction sites. This particular client is a freeway landscaper who moves sites every other year in remote areas. They have gone from running a noisy generator 9 hours a day consuming around 100 litres of fuel a week to not running the generator at all. Due to a rental contract their w...eekly costs have gone down from day 1 with no capital expenditure. Servicing costs of the generator are reduced dramatically. Their carbon footprint is also reduced by over 95% The existing generator can be used to fill up the batteries in 2 hours if there is a need and power supply is seamless due to the UPS function and automatic change over switch. Bluetooth monitoring shows run time, battery statistics, solar charging and historical statistics. The unit has a 3000VA inverter charger so can run heavy tools and pumps such as the air conditioner and 2 HP water pump on this site. 4.4Kwh of lithium batteries is enough to run an average site shed or small weekender. 2 x 435 watt commercial grade solar panels pump out a huge amount of power for a small area. Contact Mictronix now for sales and leasing of this unit.

24.01.2022 Another off grid house now powered by a Mictronix off grid power system. This 2 bedroom farm cabin looking over the Macquarie river in Kelso now has clean and reliable power. My lovely clients will now be able to retire power bill free and enjoy the peace and quiet of the farm without running the generator. Contact us now for a design that suits your needs.

23.01.2022 Custom install for a customer. The customer wanted a high performance slim and lightweight lithium solution to fit inside the unused space underneath the boot space. A 100AH Lifepo4 battery was paired with a Redarc DC to DC charger and portable solar panel to make sure their fridge and mobile appliances are always kept running while camping. The Victron display can be used to check exactly how charged the battery is via the built in screen or via the bluetooth app.

21.01.2022 Two jobs on the test bench ready to go out to customers. Using the Multiplus 2 inverter charger from Victron they now have a complete power system that is plug and play. The whole system can fit inside a small space such as underneath a bus or inside a caravan. With 3000va on tap you can run all the regular household appliances like blenders, kettle and induction cook top. 20.01.2022 Today's job was a container house build in Oberon. Power lines were over 500m away and not economical to run to the build site. The cost of transformer and wires was 3 times the cost of the stand alone power system after rebates and installation. A 3.5 kW Longi solar array was paired with a 3000 VA victron inverter and 60 amp MPPT. 8.8 kWh of Mictronix batteries minimise the space required in the garage and are ready to power the system for many years to come. Even on an overcast day the system was still pushing over 1000 watts of clean fee energy into the batteries. Contact Mictronix today for a free consultation and quote

20.01.2022 Many customers ask if its possible to have the luxury of air conditioning(day and night) whilst living off the grid... The short answer is YES! However there are many different factors to take into account as every house is built differently. The best place to start is with efficient building practices such as adequate insulation, double glazing and north facing windows with overhanging roof structures (awning, pergola, etc). Modern air conditioners are remarkably efficient. ...For example, a one horsepower inverter type split system will draw approximately 0.8 Kilowatts(Kw). This equates to 0.8 kilowatt hours(Kwh) per hour of run time. If run during daylight hours a 3.2Kw solar array will easily top up the batteries and run an air conditioner at the same time. If run during night time hours at a load of 0.8Kw the air conditioner will drain an 8.8 Kwh battery in approximately 11 hours. In summer when the days are long and the hottest part of the day is when you have the most energy this works well. During winter when the coldest part of the day is when you have no incoming power it can be quite draining on the batteries. (Times will be less in reality due to losses, efficiency and other household loads). As you can see, there is a bit of thought and engineering that needs to go into a solar setup, at Mictronix we not only can design your solar power system but advise on efficiency and appliance selection to get the best results tailored to your needs. 19.01.2022 Had the pleasure of upgrading an off grid farm house in Mangrove Mountain to the latest in lithium technology. The customer had an old failing gel 48v system that was less than 5 years old. The batteries would die shortly after night fall. The existing 3kw solar array and MPPT was kept to keep the cost down as it was still in great condition. The customer now has clean reliable power for many years to come and can use all of the regular household appliances. They can also check the status of their solar system from the comfort of their lounge via the victron connect Bluetooth application on their phone.

18.01.2022 Just put the finishing touches on this large residential system in Mona Vale. The house is a large custom build with heated pool and granny flat. Before the main house is even finished the bills are already very high hence the need for such a large system. 34 x 350W longi panels are on the bottom level in an East West split, 27 x 350W longi panels are on the top level in an East West split. These are connected to 2 x Fronius 10Kw three phase inverters all monitored by the Sol...ar Analytics monitoring tool. A total of 21.35 Kw of panels are installed on site. With electric cars becoming mainstream in the next 2 - 5 years I recommend over sizing your system while the rebates are high due to the drop in rebates in January each year. Electric cars consume huge amounts of power. Why not offset this with clean green energy. We are already seeing huge savings after 3 days of operation. The solar analytics tool has helped the client change his usage habits and re schedule the pool heating to take advantage of the free electricity during the day. We estimated just through changing of habits alone will save thousands due to being able to monitor your usage in real time. Some tree pruning at the rear of the house still needs to be done to maximise the morning sun. Contact Mictronix now for a quote or recommendation on sizing your system

17.01.2022 Preparations finished for a large residential job in Greenacre. Having such a large, unobstructed North facing roof. The client wanted to take full advantage of the sun and minimise his power bills. 56 x Longi Hi-MO X 350W panels for a total of 19.6 Kwp... 16.01.2022 A recent install for a rural client. The customer had an old failing power system and could only use power while running the generator. Having a disabled son with an electric wheelchair the customer wanted a reliable power system that would run all of her regular appliances but still stay within her budget. A 1.86 Kw Trina solar array was paired with a 3Kva Victron inverter, 4.4Kwh Lifepo4 Mictronix battery and a Victron MPPT. A generator input plug was supplied which can charge the batteries and power the load for those weeks of rainy weather. The client now has clean, green, silent and reliable energy that will last the test of time. Contact Mictronix now for a quote and design that suits your needs.

14.01.2022 The only way to appreciate this project and the beautiful Australian coastline is from above.

10.01.2022 Part 1 in a 3 part series showing how to operate a stand alone power system installed into a large caravan. This customer wanted to free camp but still have all of the luxuries that come with a caravan park. A 12 volt system just isn't enough for this kind of power demand. A specialist designed 48 volt system designed by Mictronix fits the bill perfectly! Contact us now to see how we can help... https://youtu.be/mTxerbyrMzE

08.01.2022 Mictronix had the pleasure of installing this large off grid solar system. The owner wanted energy independence with enough grunt to last through any storm. This system is enough for a large off grid house with air conditioning and all the regular mod cons a grid connected house usually has. The system consisted of ... - 45 x 350W longi panels. Total 15.75Kw - 9 x Mictronix 4.4Kwh Lifepo4 battery modules totalling 39.6Kwh of storage - 1 x Victron Quattro 8000Va inverter charger - 3 x Victron 85 amp MPPT charge controllers - Victron BMV-712 bluetooth battery monitor - automatic starting generator for seamless backup Contact Mictronix now for advice or a quote on a new or upgraded system.

08.01.2022 Another mictronix system undergoing testing before installation. This one uses the larger 5000va victron inverter charger as the client has some heavy tools and air conditioning to run which need the high starting power this inverter delivers. This will be paired with a 3.25kWp solar array to make sure there is plenty of power available at all times.
