22.01.2022 Just attended Simon Sinek’s ‘The Infinite Game’ virtual event wonderfully facilitated by TheGrowthFaculty and what a powerful session it was! Some great shares: the leader’s responsibility is to build an environment within which people thrive leaders need to create ‘circles of safety’ within which people can feel vulnerable, can safely share I made a mistake or I need help ’Ethical fading’ is a real issue - happens when decision-making focuses too much on profitabili...ty or winning Trust is what happens between the meetings a people-problem is never solved by a process solution Leadership is a team sport Express the vulnerability being felt (the fears, the concerns) while having a difficult conversation - it doesn’t have to be perfect, just have it Great organisations are values-based organisations the most ‘dangerous’ leadership trait - to think you can do it alone... the way we build trust is by asking for help (attributed to Brené Brown).
