15.01.2022 Across the weekend our MGCC sides along with their opponents took part in a barefoot circle together for NAIDOC week and #reconciliationround. Those involved removed their shoes to connect to country and acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Nyoongar Nation as the Traditional Custodians of this country and its waters while standing on Nyoongar Country, and paid their respects to elders past and present. As representatives of our club, we stand against racism in our game. Thank you to local artist Nathan Corunna too for painting the stumps
