22.01.2022 Good News ! Following the latest advice from government & health authorities, Midland Orthodontists will be re-opening on Tuesday 28th April. While there are still some restrictions regarding the types of procedures we can perform, we are able to begin seeing patients again and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible to schedule an appointment. 17.01.2022 ~COVID-19 UPDATE~ As a result of the most recent government announcements all dental practices have been placed on level 3 restrictions by the ADA in the lock down areas. This means that no orthodontic patient should attend the clinic at this time. If you have an appointment currently scheduled for this week, please stand by and we will be in touch shortly. We are all working hard to keep your treatment on track through regular monitoring using monitoring apps, phone consulta...tions and reviewing photos. 17.01.2022 Temporary Practice Closure At Midland Orthodontists we care deeply about all our patients, team and colleagues. Therefore, it is important that we partner with government and regulators to continue to ensure everyone is kept safe in these unprecedented and challenging times. Unfortunately at this stage we have no option but to postpone ALL patient's upcoming appointments until Government and the Australian Dental Association (ADA) directives change and we can again provide o...ur care safely. As you can imagine, this is not a decision we have taken lightly, but we must all follow these important guidelines. Thus, from 5pm Tuesday 31st March 2020, our rooms will be temporarily closed to the public until further notice Should an emergency arise, we will still be contactable by phone between 9am & 12 noon, Mon Fri on 9274 6861 and message bank outside these hours and via email at [email protected] . We can then assess the situation and manage as appropriate. Dr Owen and all of our Associates will be available to assist you within the guidelines should the need arise. We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and once we have received advice from the regulatory bodies, will resume our normal procedures and patient management as soon as possible. In the meantime, we hope everyone will continue to respect government guidelines regarding physical distancing, but still remain in touch safely through technology, while community control of the COVID-19 virus occurs. Following the latest advice from the government & ADA we are able to resume practice as of Monday 8th February However we kindly ask that everyone attending the clinic next week follows the Covid-Safe requirements:... SafeWA check-in (either using the SafeWA app or the written registry at reception) Face masks to be worn by everyone over the age of 12 years. Practicing social distancing and limiting people in the waiting area (4sqm rule) And, where possible, we ask that only one other person accompany the patient to their appointment.
