Change and difference can be challenging - even confronting - but at heart we are all human and just want the right to love who we love, and be proud of who we are - and bring up our kids in a world that judges you by what you do - not by who you are. 14.01.2022 Finally get to check Facebook after huge night and then massive day packing down. Hugest thank you to those who rocked up so early to work after a massive 2 weeks .. Reg Salmon, the undisputed earl of Waggrakine, Phil and Donna Blakeway from Nukara, Anthea da Silva, Ray, Valli Papini and Jason Dunn, Chris Bolton, Cerrie Beech and the INCREDIBLE crew from PCYC Simone, Jody, Kim, Mitch, Rosie, Corina ..and others whose names escape me right now, who worked SO hard and ti...relessly for hours. You are legends! Incredible effort after the night before! Also huge thanks to the next wave.. Christian Watters, Fraser Adam, Fred Zuideveld ... who brought a new lease of life and helped us to get 3 days work down in one.. you rock! If I forgot anyone my sincerest apologies and please add your/their names.. we love you and so appreciate all you you have done to make GFEST the sensational success it was.. big thankyou also to Karen Sanders who was the smiling face of gfest on the door every night, and social media-ing at all hours, and to all our other wonderful hard working volunteers especially Deni, Tracy and Madonna who were ALWAYS working, the brilliant Carol, Euan, marisa, Marko, Mark, Ryan, lydia and any others whose names i gave missed. And finally, HUGE thankyou to the City staff who worked so hard throughout the festival and did an absoluteyly BRILLIANT job.
